Pilot Żwirko i engineer Wigura 1:72
Żwirko and Wigura are legends of Polish aviation: Franciszek Żwirko (pilot) and Stanisław Wigura (engineer-constructor), who died in an air crash on September 11, 1932, near Cierlicko in Zaolzie. Just a few days earlier, on August 28, 1932, they won the prestigious International Tourist Aircraft Competition, the Challenge, in Berlin, thereby securing the cup for Poland.
